Hey! I’m Jackie, and I’m a senior at Helena High (gulp). I’m super ready for the school year to be over, but I’m also ready to cherish lunches with friends as much as I can before I go to college. I want to go to the University of Montana and study French to become a high school French teacher.
As of now, though, I love playing piano and guitar and writing songs and poetry. I love hanging out with friends (especially now, since I’ve been thinking about college and leaving home so much lately). I have a little brother, who’s two. He’s the cutest kid ever, and I think I will miss him the most when I leave for Missoula in the summer.
And, of course, I will also miss the newspaper, and all my friends I write with. My second and last year writing for the Nugget will be the best one yet.
