My name is Carmen Porter. I am finally a senior; it took 12 long years! I hope my last year in high school is going to be a nice, easy and fun year. I am taking eight classes this year, one of which is Newspaper. I decided to sign up for Newspaper to work on my writing skills and to have a fun, relaxing class.
While I do not participate in school sports or clubs, I do enjoy going and watching the games. I plan on attending as many school activities and games as possible. However, as we all know, homework may take over. My hobbies include fishing, hiking, cooking, baking, and hanging out with my friends and family. I do not have a full-time job, though I do babysit quite a bit.
As I near the end of high school, I have put some thought into what I'm going to do in the future. I plan to join the Army with the MOS of 31B, which in civilian terms is Military Police. I plan on doing that for five years, then going into the National Guard for the rest of my time. Once I get out of the military, I plan to become a normal police officer.
