Hey, I’m Emmi Highness! This is my last year at Helena High—I don’t know about you… but I’m feeling Class of ‘22—and my second year with the Nugget Newspaper. I loved learning and sharing new things about our school through the newspaper last year and am excited to be this year’s Head Editor. I can’t wait to continue bringing exciting stories to Helena High—oh and be ready for more Taylor Swift-related content😉.
Music is my ultimate passion, so when I’m not writing album reviews and Grammy predictions for the newspaper, I’m singing, songwriting, playing guitar or just jamming out to some One Direction. My other passions include but are certainly not limited to candle collecting, Marvel, mock trial – come join us!, spending time with my friends, and tarot and astrology.
My current dream is to study social psychology and go onto law school to ultimately help make a positive change for social justice and civil rights causes, but the future is very unknown, so don’t quote me on that.
Although I’ll be sad to leave, I’m super excited for this year’s Nugget Newspaper, so get ready for some amazing articles coming your way.
