Selena Goddard, Head Writer
I joined newspaper to challenge myself; it is different from anything I’ve ever written before. When I graduate high school, I plan to study English and writing; writing for the Nugget is a great opportunity to be a published author and get exposure to a different style of writing. Most of my classes this year are writing based in several different genres so I can figure out the one I like the most. Newspaper is also a great way to meet all kinds of different people, and learn about their views on various issues; whether they are from the school or the community. However, interviewing will be a challenge for me because of how shy I am, but, I think this class will help me grow and get a new outlook on things.
