Hello readers! I’m the senior editor of the paper, Declan Rous. This is my second year as editor of the Nugget. I transferred here my sophomore year from Missoula, and newspaper really gave me the push to become more involved at Helena High. Writing has always been a hobby of mine so newspaper helps me process my ideas and improve my writing style. I enjoy being in the know about school events, and seeing all the diverse clubs that the school has to offer. Newspaper is definitely a unique and fun experience that everyone should take if they have the chance.
