The Helena High School swim team had a pretty good swim season this year even with a lot of the seniors from last year leaving. With only two seniors they did really well throughout the season, The boys had a great season and the girls won a relay in finals at state this year. Kimber Mook, a senior, said, “A lot of our best swimmers have left, so I was expecting it to not be the best, but everyone really came together and pushed themselves and we ended up doing really well.” The boys’ score for the state meet was 60.5 points which earned them a 9th place finish overall in the state. The girls’ score at the state meet was 6 points which earned them a 15th place finish this season.

Both teams had a difficult time competing in the state swim meet, but had a fun time as the two seniors swam their last High School state swim meet. Mook said “ I met a lot of new people, and they helped make the season fun and enjoyable.” The Helena High School swim team had two seniors this season Kimber Mook and Alex Ackerland.
