A pop song released only last year on November 6th; it gained popularity fast due to social media platforms like TikTok. The song is based off of the struggles of getting over an ex who has moved on and is dating someone else. Gracie Abrams expresses how hard it can be and how mutual friends talk about how cool the new girl is.  

Also, it expresses the other struggles that come with a breakup like jealousy, hatred, and anger. She talks about how she has done all the things he is doing with the new girl and how at night she faces all that anger as if it was a fight in her own head. 

Background on Gracie Abrams; Abrams is a 25-year-old from Los Angles, California who debuted in 2023 with her album “Good Riddance”.
