Anything Goes with Emma Chamberlain
I honestly don’t like podcasts. Most podcasts make me either zone out or start thinking about completely different topics. When I heard about the Emma Chamberlain podcast, Anything Goes I thought it was going to be another run-of-the-mill celebrity podcast. When I began the first episode, my mind was blown. Listening to this podcast feels like you’re having a conversation with a friend. Chamberlain talks about things that are relevant to our lives.
Emma is a 19-year-old content creator. She grew up in California and currently lives in Los Angeles. Along with her career as a content creator, she took her love of coffee and created her own coffee brand. Her content on YouTube, Instagram, Tik-Tok, and other social media platforms, always encourages her followers to be original despite others’ judgments. In her podcast, she tells a good handful of stories about her past experiences, so listeners get to know Chamberlain better and on a more personal level.
One of the most enjoyable things about her podcast is that each episode is different. They range from her past high school stories, advice sessions, or even just talking about her day-to-day life. She has a unique way of perceiving life. For example, Chamberlain thinks people should learn how to thrive on their own and not be dependent on other people for their happiness. Emma shows that you can be fine with your own company.
Emma has a very calming and relaxing voice, making the podcast feel friendly and welcoming. It really does feel like sitting down with a friend. Listening to her makes you forget she is a celebrity because she goes through the same struggles as you do.

I don’t usually listen to podcasts either, but this sounds intriguing. The way you describe Emma’s show as “having a conversation with a friend” is brilliantly worded. Podcasts seem to be becoming the new “Fireside Chats” that Roosevelt once hosted, and this one in particular sounds very similar. I may have to go check this one out. I hope you stick with the Nugget Maisie!
