Cinnamon Toast Crunch, the greatest cereal in existence, is famously just as tasty as a dry snack as it is with milk for breakfast. The crisp texture with the added coating of cinnamon sugar makes for a delicious treat anytime. Cinnamon Toast Crunch Churros, which has the same sweet flavor as CTC but with a larger and even crunchier texture, also proves to be an amazing snack with a super satisfying crunch. And finally, in this vein of fantastic snack cereals, General Mills is also the producer of Chex cereal, which is almost as, if not more famous for being a component of snacking Chex Mix as it is for breakfast. 

These three elements unite into one fantastic snack recently released by General Mills. In their new line of “Remix” snack pouches, available in stores now, they mix fan-favorite cereals into one unique snack mix. Currently available are Chocolate Toast Crunch Remix Chocolate Caramel, which features Chocolate Toast Crunch cereal, Vanilla Chex cereal, and Caramel Popcorn in a convenient grab and go pouch, Golden Grahams S’mores Remix which is Golden Grahams cereal, Cocoa Puffs cereal, and Marshmallows, and finally the focus of this review: Cinnamon Toast Crunch Remix Cinnamon Vanilla, featuring Cinnamon Toast Crunch cereal, Cinnamon Toast Crunch Churros cereal, and Vanilla Chex cereal. 

Maybe it’s personal bias seeing as how CTC is my favorite cereal, but this snack mix is fantastic! CTC Remix Cinnamon Vanilla comes in a box of ten pouches and has the overall color scheme and theme of a Cinnamon Toast Crunch cereal box with the white base colors and vibrant neon accents. Each pouch is a slim bag with the same design and perforated top and bottom for easy snack access. Each pouch of Remix Cinnamon Vanilla is 130 calories and contains nine grams of sugar.  

The iconic crispy, sugar Cinnamon Toast Crunch squares, the crunchy Churros, and light, airy Chex pieces all play perfectly together and provide an awesome, unique texture, along with a sweet, cinnamon sugar flavor with just a subtle, refreshing underlying hint of vanilla. The pouches are super convenient and fun. 

I must admit, however, that I did not enjoy this snack mix as a snack mix. Oh no, I enjoyed it as a cereal. It took two pouches to make a full bowl but emptying these into my bowl and splashing some milk on that sucker was a truly fantastic experience.  

It was great dry, but even better wet. The milk really brings out all the cereal flavors and softens each piece just enough. It smells amazing, tastes amazing, looks amazing, and feels amazing. Let’s also take a second to appreciate the “cinnamilk” at the end of the bowl. It’s got all the sugary sweetness of normal CTC milk but with a super noticeable and delicious vanilla tone. It is really unique and delicious! 

I fully intend to do the same thing with the Golden Grahams S’mores Remix at some point, which I’m sure will be just as good. I’m a bit hesitant about doing this with the Chocolate Toast Crunch Chocolate Caramel Remix since it’s got popcorn in it, but who knows? Maybe it’ll be great. 

Overall, General Mills absolutely knocked it out of the park with this. They made a Chex Mix-like creation in convenient pouches that can be enjoyed either dry and on-the-go, or with milk as a breakfast. You’ve got to grab these if you see them. I highly recommend it!
