The Bengal’s beat the Bruins 30-7 to advance to the State Championship against the Billings Senior Broncos. It was the bruins who struck first on Friday, on their second drive of the game on a rush straight up the middle. But on the kickoff sophomore Logan Brown took it to the house and after a 2-point conversion by Kyle Tabbert the Bengal’s took the lead and would never surrender it from then on.

Senior Ray Trudeau stepped up big in the first half scoring twice. Coach Arnston said,” Ray’s one of those kids who worked to be where he’s at. You know it’s been hard work, and off-season training, and going through the process, and I’m so happy for him.” In the second half the Bengals focused on playing smart defense and managing the clock. The strategy obviously payed off with a Bengal’s win.

The Bengals will play in Billings next Friday for the State Championship. Despite an early season loss 43-19, Bengal’s coach Tony Arnston oozed confidence saying “We don’t care about that game (referring to the week 2 loss].  we just gotta get ourselves ready, were gonna enjoy this for a night then were gonna get ready to go down there next week.” This will be Coach Arnstons 4th state championship game. Hopefully he can bring another on home. Go Bengals!
